His years as an FDNY firefighter and construction company owner shape his vision. The bustle of NYC streets, intricate patterns of worn tools, majestic construction of NYC’s bridges and the strength of everyday figures—doormen, bike messengers, delivery drivers, musicians—become his subjects, honoring those who keep the city alive. He finds inspiration in the rugged rhythms of his surroundings, transforming them into vivid, emotionally-charged works.
